Chocolate Chunk, Walnut and Cinnamon Cookies

Ingredients

1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3 cups quick cooking oats
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup butter flavored crisco (1 stick)
2 jumbo eggs
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
1-1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chopped walnuts
1-1/2 cups chocolate chunks

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. In mixing bowl, cream together crisco stick, and white and brown sugars.
  3. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Beat after the addition of each egg. Add vanilla and mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture. Mix in oats, chocolate chunks and walnuts.
  5. Drop by spoonful or cookie scoop onto parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 14-16 minutes.
