Ingredients
1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3 cups quick cooking oats
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup butter flavored crisco (1 stick)
2 jumbo eggs
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
1-1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chopped walnuts
1-1/2 cups chocolate chunks
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- In mixing bowl, cream together crisco stick, and white and brown sugars.
- Add eggs, 1 at a time. Beat after the addition of each egg. Add vanilla and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture. Mix in oats, chocolate chunks and walnuts.
- Drop by spoonful or cookie scoop onto parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 14-16 minutes.
