Ingredients for Meatballs

1 pound ground turkey

4 ounces pancetta

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, minced

2 teaspoons kosher salt

1 teaspoon pepper
-
2 teaspoons Pizza seasoning (or Italian seasoning)

1 egg

1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
Ingredients for Sauce

2 28-ounce cans crushed (unsalted) plum tomatoes

1 28-ounce can whole peeled tomatoes
-
1-1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
-
1/2 teaspoon pepper
-
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Directions
- Place ground turkey, pancetta, kosher salt, pepper, pizza seasoning (or Italian seasoning), egg, garlic, thyme and bread crumbs into a large bowl.
- Gently mix together with a fork.
- Form 2-inch balls and set into a Dutch oven or large pot.
- Pour tomatoes over meatballs and add kosher salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and Italian seasoning and stir. Gently stir meatballs into the sauce.
- Cook on Medium to medium-low for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally to keep meat balls off bottom of pan.
- Serve with your choice of pasta.
