“Honey, it’s thyme for dinner!” Tonight I marinated chicken drumsticks in a mixture of olive oil, honey, whole grain dijon mustard, jarred, minced garlic, dried French Thyme, Herbs de Provence, and kosher salt. I put two packages of chicken drumsticks in a glass bowl and poured the marinade over the drumsticks and let it sit for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, I mixed biscuits to go with the chicken. I added dried French Thyme to the biscuits as well. It tied the dinner together quite well. Our dinner was full of flavor this evening.
You’ll have to excuse me now, I’m going to put together our strawberry shortcakes for dessert. A well deserved treat after a light dinner.
