I was planning on making a simple pasta dish for dinner, something quick and easy … I used spaghetti noodles, dressed in nothing more than a couple tablespoons of olive oil, fresh parsley, fresh basil and fresh garlic.
I remembered that I had a fresh pizza dough in the refrigerator that I needed to use. I decided to make it into a cheesy garlic bread – however, not too cheesy.
I let my dough rise for 20-30 minutes. Once it had risen, I formed it onto a pizza pan. I brushed a couple tablespoons of melted butter over the dough and topped the butter with a sprinkling of Italian Seasoning and kosher salt, along with a couple cloves of fresh, minced garlic, fresh parsley, and shredded Quattro Formaggio Cheese that I buy at Trader Joe’s.
I folded the dough into thirds, letter style. I sprinkled a bit more Italian Seasoning over the top with a little more fresh parsley and a couple tablespoons of Quattro Formaggio Cheese.
I placed my bread into a preheated 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. It was great!
Ingredients
-
1 fresh pizza dough
-
1-2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
-
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
-
1/8 cup fresh parsley, chopped
-
2 garlic cloves, minced
-
2 tablespoons melted butter
-
3/4 cup quattro formaggio cheese (Trader Joe’s)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Let dough rise for 20-30 minutes. Form dough into large circle on pizza pan. Brush with melted butter and top with Italian seasoning, kosher salt, garlic, parsley and cheese. Fold dough into thirds, letter style. Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning over the top of the bread with any leftover chopped parsley and a couple tablespoons of cheese. Bake for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
Until next time, Kris

Thank you so much! I came upon the idea by having to use up a fresh pizza dough I bought.
